The 2030 Agenda addresses the interlinkages between the social, economic, and environmental dimensions of sustainable development, since a holistic approach that incorporates these three elements is essential if we are to achieve sustainable development.

2. What are Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs)?

The SDGs were adopted by all United Nations Member States in 2015 as a universal call to action to end poverty, protect the planet and ensure that all people enjoy peace and prosperity by 2030. The SDGs are a collection of 17 cross-cutting development goals and 169 associated targets designed to be a blueprint to achieve a better and more sustainable future for all. The SDGs aim to ‘leave no one behind’ and to ‘reach the furthest behind first’. 

The 17 global goals are 1. No Poverty, 2. Zero Hunger, 3. Good Health and Well-Being, 4. Quality Education, 5. Gender Equality, 6. Clean Water and Sanitation, 7. Affordable and Clean Energy, 8. Decent Work and Economic Growth, 9. Industry, Innovation and Infrastructure, 10. Reduced Inequalities, 11. Sustainable Cities and Communities, 12. Responsible Consumption and Production, 13. 3. What is SDGCC Nagaland Website?

The SDGCC Nagaland Website is an initiative of the SDG Coordination Centre (SDGCC), Department of Planning & Transformation, Government of Nagaland with technical support from the United Nations Development Programme(UNDP). It is a one-stop access to all information and resources towards localisation and integration of SDGs in the State.

The website is also linked to ‘Nagaland SDG Dashboard’, a robust monitoring tool to view and assess the progress of all schemes and programmes of all relevant state departments through the SDG framework.

No, registration is not required to access the resources available on the SDGCC Website.
